These delightful hand embroidered home art items from the Hebron area of Palestine are made of traditional Palestinian embroidery motifs combined in new and unusual ways. Each one-of-a-kind item is embroidered with the traditional Palestinian cross stitch on cotton with DMC embroidery thread on one side only. Each is hand washable and will give years of pleasure to its owner. It was made by an impoverished village woman who employs her traditional skill of embroidery to earn money to feed and educate her children.
