As a member of the Fair Trade Federation, Costello International is dedicated to equal opportunity for employment, especially for the most disadvantaged. Our goal is to improve work standards and expand markets for Mexican families of the Nahuatl Indian Nation who produce Traditional Mosaic inlay crafts. These people are primarily agriculturists and carry on a traditional way of life centered around the cultivation of corn. The designs are chosen by the maker, produced in home, and are in many cases inspired by nature which these natives are so closely bound. Proceeds of the sales of this artistry are shared with the individual craftsperson's as well as with the communities that they represent.
